After a tough start to the school year, we want you to look On The Bright Side and join us at our new location for the 2025 State Convention, April 3-5, 2025.
Every year, more than 1500 student journalists and their advisers from across Florida attend the FSPA Sate Convention to celebrate their achievements this school year, while continuing to prioritize growth in their programs and themselves through networking, competing, and learning from professionals in media. Attendees leave with a renewed passion for journalism that they take with them, not only into their classrooms and schools, but into our communities.

Keynote Speaker
Clarissa Moon
Clarissa has been working as a theatre journalist since 2016.
She has worked with acclaimed organizations such as The Broadway League, the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Fringe, WMFE 90.7 News, Orlando Weekly, and Broadway World Orlando to give audiences a peek behind the curtain of the theatre industry.
Clarissa is best known for her video interview series Clarissa Moon Talks to the Stars, which can be found on Broadway World Orlando, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Recent interviewees include New York Times best selling author, John Green.
